Sketchbook Freedom (recorded live August 2025) Watch Preview

This class is just what you need to jumpstart your art and get your creative energy flowing. Recorded Live, this Sketchbook Freedom class I led on Zoom has a lot packed into it. I will share stories about how I found things that work for my process, show you my supplies and tools, give you tips to staying free and using your sketchbook to build that muscle. This is a casual and fun.

An open book. Easy going, laid back, approachable and encouraging.  That's my style when it comes to sharing my art process because the most important thing is that I want YOU to be creating right away. 

Whatever course you take with me, including Sketchbook Freedom, I want you to explore, discover and create, helping you grow in your practice. 

Sketchbook Freedom is a way to let go, get loose and let it rip.

Materials: 

+ there is no steadfast material list for this class, whatever you have on hand will work. Yes, you read that right.

Suggestions include:

+ a sketchbook, mine is very basic. Almost like heavy copy paper. It gives me the freedom I'm looking for. When I ran out, I went to a pad of paper.

+ watercolors, acrylics, house paint, fluid acrylics, pencils, markers, pastels, oil pastels, etc.
